I'm currently in the works of setting up a mentoring program for those on here who are new. Elders of the craft, and Honoraries of the coven are invited to take on the role of a mentor. If anyone has questions, please message me or asdeaj. I'd like to get this coven, even though it is online, more involved with the learning and teaching aspects of Wicca. We are a learning coven after all.

Right! Last night Vixen and I threw around some ideas that we think might help make this new mentoring program a little bit easier and more enjoyable for all
1.) We would like all mentors to have a separate emailing account on Gmail, used only for students to get into contact with them about their studies.
2.) We are thinking of utilizing Gmails capability of creating, sharing, and editing documents in real time so that students can work on group projects together in real time.
3.) We want those who have already entered into the Wicca 222 studies to be able to mentor atleast, perhaps even only, one Wicca 101 student. This will help us have more active mentors, and will lower the student to Mentor ratio. This will help the students have a one-on-one experience with their mentor. This will also lower the stress amount on the mentors, because they wont have as many students to mentor and keep track of.
4.) Gmail also has a phone calling service that is FREE for those who are inside the US. You get your own phone number, and I am not quite sure how, but you can set it up where your cell phone can get the call made to your Gmail account, as well as texts and voicemails sent to that Gmail number. This number can be used to make and receive calls.
These are just a few of the ideas that we have come up with. The actual logistics of it all is still in the making. For those of you who are already Mentors we would like it if you would set up your Gmail account as soon as possible and make the account read somehwere along the lines of "mentor_asdeaj@gmail.com" If you could set up the phone calling service as well and provide both the email address and the Gmail number in a reply, we can get that recorded for future use and reference.
