I should have posted this before Midsummer, but I suppose later is better than never. This is a craft my kids and I assemble as a team, together with a white candle and gold/orange candle. The kids like the smell of Egyptian musk incense. We take a discarded cigar box and spray paint it gold (my oldest son loves that), and we also decorate it with glitter and glitter glue. My youngest son loves the glitter. We fill it with bay leaves on which we write our wishes with a crayon or sharpie. A wax pencil would be better. In addition, we toss in a bit of rue to help the wishes hurry along. Rocks/gemstones are fun to throw in when working with kids. My youngest collects the best rocks. My kids and I did charge a piece of carnelian, tiger's eye, and amber. I add the gemstones as they correlate to the wishes. If anyone wants to add to this recipe for fun, please do!
