I would LOVE to see your altars. I think that an altar is the image of our craft and everyone's craft differs, so I believe that everyone's altars differ...if it's not too personal to you, a picture would be very nice! Here's a picture of my altar specially made for the deities of love and compassion

Lovely altar Brim. Could you explain what the pieces on the altar represent, if it's not private that is. My addition is the altar I set up for Hestia during the Vestalia weekend over the 12th to 13th of June this year. Hestia has no formal festival in the Athenian calendar so I borrowed from the Roman Vesta for a festival date.

Lovely alter pictures Vixiana and Brim I've added mine below, please forgive the stripped walls..I'm in the middle of redecorating my room and because of christmas it's on hold for a bit till I've more pennies in my pocket Lol! My Alter is in the pic below, The black box I painted myself and added a triquera symbol in silver paint, I keep my runes and Goddess stones in it and some other things of personal vaule, the big wood box I keep my beeswax candles in, the other things on the alter are my angel, goddess and unicorn cards(which I randomly pickout some days and will leave them out for me to contemplate during the day) some candles, some corse sea salt and my quartz crystals and a piece of selenite. In the other picure below is what is above my alter and is hand painted by myself, I painted the dagger in the fire before I even started on this path, I guess it was the start Lol, and the one below in kanji means "Unity Of Will" I have other things in a drawer under my alter as you can see It's not very big to put everything I would like on it as I have a very small room. Love and Light

Very nice girls! I always enjoyed taking a look at other people's altar =) Well, the headless couple represents Ares and Aphrodite (to me) my patron gods, The cat represents Bastet my other patron deity, the moon represents Innana of course, and the candles holder has been in the family for generations...you can't see it, but it's holding the god and goddess candles...the Angel represents a heavenly purity and protection but the rose and the flowers are an offering to the deities of love and just add a touch of my personal favourites decor to my altar...this is not my usual altar but my tribute =)
